POSTMILLENNIUMISM
I was given a book; The Coming of the Lord, Will it be Premillennial? by James H Snowden. He presented in his argument the following quotes:
“The two apocalyptic books of the Bible teach a simultaneous resurrection and judgment of the righteous and wicked.” He quotes Daniel 12:2, as well as Revelation 20:11-15, in his attempt to prove his teaching on the resurrection. He argued: “It would be hard to put a description of the general resurrection and final judgment of the dead into plainer and more express words. The dead, ‘the great and the small,’ stand before the throne, and ‘the sea gave up the dead’ and ‘death and hades,’ death itself, ‘gave up the dead that were in them,’ and ‘the dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works.’ And yet in the face of all these statements the pre-millenarians, driven by the exigency of their theory, see in the passage only the resurrection and judgment of the wicked.” Continue reading
